Debby MacNeil, CADC, is the Director of Admissions at Innovo Detox. Debby or a member of her admissions team is often the first person you will speak with when calling Innovo Detox for help for your or your loved one’s issues with drugs and alcohol. Debby makes sure to meet each and every caller with a level of respect, compassion, empathy, and understanding. Debby and her team truly understand what those in need of detox services are going through, and will work tirelessly to make sure they find the appropriate medical and clinical services to meet their needs, whether that is Innovo Detox or a different facility or professional.
Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Debby is the middle child of a family of seven children. Debby personally dealt with her own issues with addiction and substance use disorder as a young adult. Finding recovery in 2011 and learning to live a life of sobriety, Debby began working in the addiction treatment field when she lived in Florida. Now with a family of her own, Debby moved back to her home state of Pennsylvania, helping to open Innovo Detox and bring a vital treatment service to those in need to the community of her hometown.
Debby is a Pennsylvania Board Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and is specifically trained in DBT therapy. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a specific type of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy that emphasizes the psychosocial aspects of therapy and treatment.
As the Director of Admissions at Innovo Detox, Debby’s focus is to assist potential patients and their families to overcome the challenges of addiction and break down the barriers of accessing detox and treatment. With over 9 years of experience in the field of substance use disorder treatment and behavioral health, Debby came to work for Innovo Detox because she understands the importance that a detox level of care plays in the beginning stages of someone’s recovery journey. Her passion is to help those recovering from addiction transform their lives and re-establish relationships with their families. Debby has dedicated her life to breaking the stigma of addiction and helping those suffering from addiction find recovery and high quality of life.
