While detox is often considered an experience that is only medically focused, at Innovo Detox we believe that detox is only the first step in a vital continuum of care that will support patients in finding sustainable, lasting recovery. Because of this, while the primary purpose of detox is to provide excellent medical care that frees a patient from substances and gets them to a point of being medically stable, a detox can be an invaluable place to begin providing treatment and clinical care.

At Innovo Detox we believe that offering a high-quality of clinical care is necessary in order to provide the highest quality of patient care and overall detox experience, but also so that patients can begin to understand themselves, their addiction, their barriers to recovery, and begin to set in motion a long-term care model that fits their needs that will support them moving forward. To do this, a detox facility needs a great staff of clinicians to provide therapy and counseling. Fortunately, we have in place a phenomenal clinical team led by Innovo Detox Clinical Supervisor Brianna Earomirski, LCSW.

Brianna has been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2008. She started her career in therapeutic foster care working with children who needed more support than traditional foster care could provide. Afterward, Brianna gained experience working in a county detention center where she developed a Re-Entry Program to assist with the successful transition of offenders back into the community while simultaneously providing addiction counseling to inmates that were in the treatment unit. After graduate school, Brianna worked in a rehabilitation hospital focusing on case management, where she was promoted and became a therapist that worked specifically with those struggling with addiction, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. She also gained experience working with individuals in Drug Court, as well as providing crisis intervention to those in need throughout the community.

Before coming to Innovo Detox, Brianna served in the role of Clinical Director for an addiction treatment center in Pennsylvania that provided extended care, intensive outpatient services, and outpatient services. Now, at Innovo Detox, Brianna oversees that clinical programming and services for patients during their time going through detox and receiving medical stabilization. She works collaboratively with Innovo Detox’s Executive Director Molly Ashcroft, Medical Director Dr. Alok Saharan, Director of Nursing Jamie Carr, and the entire team to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care and support.

When asked about her experience working with a population suffering from addiction and substance use disorder, Brianna said “Every single position I have ever held in my career involved substance abuse. While I did not start my career with the expectation to work specifically with addiction, it has been part of my experience from the very beginning. From working with children whose parents were being rehabilitated or unable to care for them because of addiction, to those incarcerated, to those in crisis, or those who have battled with addiction and co-occurring disorders for years- they all are connected. Working in substance use allows me to be part of their journey, which is something I don’t take for granted.”

She ended by saying “A quote I share with my patients often is ‘What good is insight without action?’ I’m grateful to help them gain insight so that they are able to put it into action and restore their lives.”
