Innovo Detox, a MARC Treatment Center, is proud to announce that Caroline Farrell, LSW, has joined the Innovo Detox team as the new Community Outreach Specialist. A skilled and experienced professional in the behavioral healthcare space, Caroline Farrell will be based out of the Philadelphia area, with a specific focus on the Main Line area outside of Philadelphia.

“I am thrilled to have Caroline join us on the team here at Innovo Detox,” said Mallorie Schwartzman, Director of Business Development at Innovo Detox. “Her unique experience in clinical work, crisis management, and business development roles makes her the perfect fit for the role of Community Outreach Specialist, where she will be able to understand and access the specific needs of our patients, their families, and Innovo’s professional partnerships.”

Caroline’s education includes receiving her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Temple University and her master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College outside of Philadelphia. After school, Caroline began her career focused on clinical work, becoming a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. During her career providing direct clinical care to clients, she worked in a variety of different clinical and treatment settings, including inpatient treatment from substance use disorders, outpatient addiction treatment that included both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, mental health treatment organizations, and collegiate recovery.

After spending time in direct clinical care as a clinician for several years, Caroline made the decision to shift her focus to business development and clinical outreach roles, in an effort to expand her professional experience and in the hopes of continuing her journey to fight the disease of addiction. It is through her professional clinical experience, firsthand knowledge, and personal experience as a person in long-term recovery, and passion for the highest quality care that allows Caroline to be a trusted and valuable resource to individuals, families, behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment professionals, and community members seeking support, guidance, treatment options, and recovery resources.

Along with her clinical background and professional business development work, Caroline is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and has completed training for yoga in trauma and addiction.  She teaches a weekly yoga class at a non-profit in the Narbeth, PA area for individuals in recovery.

“We are excited to have Caroline Farrell join our team at Innovo Detox to better support our patients, families, and referents throughout the Pennsylvania region,” stated Molly Ashcroft, Executive Director of Innovo Detox. “Caroline’s clinical background, dedication to the mental health field, and professional connections within the local community will only enhance our delivery of care and patient experience. At Innovo, we pride ourselves in setting up a treatment continuum in order  to meet each patient’s needs, and with Caroline’s footprint throughout Pennsylvania, this will provide more resources and opportunities to partner with trusted providers.”
