We are excited to announce the addition of Sarah Seibel, CPS, CRS, to the Innovo Detox staff! Sarah has joined Innovo Detox as a clinical counselor, and will provide direct patient care, including group, individual, and family counseling and case management services.

Sarah graduated from the University of Arizona Global Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavioral Science in 2021. She has held several positions in the behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment field. Beginning her career as a mental health worker at Hoffman Homes for Youth, she then moved on to working one-on-one with individuals with a mental health or substance use disorder diagnosis in the Franklin County and Fulton County areas of Pennsylvania. Most recently, she was employed as a drug and alcohol counselor in Hanover, Pennsylvania, providing assessments, treatment planning, and counseling services to individuals suffering from addiction and co-occurring disorders.

A Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) and a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), both through the Pennsylvania Certification Board, she is trained as a group facilitator, in mental health first aid, and Motivational Interviewing (MI.) She also has a large knowledge base in mental health and substance use disorder clinical approaches, including crisis intervention, mental health counseling, and crisis management.

At Innovo Detox, Sarah will join our interdisciplinary team of clinicians, doctors, nurses, and Therapeutic Assistants that deliver best-in-class treatment services for those suffering from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Carrying a caseload of patients in detox and treatment, she will be responsible for individual and group therapy sessions, family outreach and support, and ongoing case management.

When asked about her career in behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment, and what brought her to Innovo Detox, Sarah said, “I began my journey in the field as a Certified Recovery Specialist and Certified Peer Specialist. I then went on to complete my bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in Applied Behavioral Science. I am currently being supervised for my CADC credentials and I am also in the process of completing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a trauma focus. I am passionate about supporting others in breaking the cycle of addiction and discovering the power they already have within them to live meaningful, free, and full lives. My own life and family history of addiction was my initial motivation, but it has grown to be so much more than that as time has gone on. I consider myself to be a woman on a mission to support others in discovering their own unique paths to recovery, healing, and freedom!”
